Bill Nye, the cable guy

Erica Firment

I spent five fun-filled hours waiting for the cable guy to show up and give me Internet this afternoon. The next-door neighbor figured out that I’ve been freeloading her wireless, and locked down her router.

Curse you bittorrent! Curse your deadly allure and telling bandwidth consumption!

just fyi, freeloading another person’s wireless (without their consent) is a federal offense in the US. :) It goes along with someone using your router for illegal operations and getting you in trouble b/c it’s your router! Both of the routers in my house are not only password-protected but hidden so you have to know the username to even find the signal.
